Seats run whatever model fits — Claude here, a local Llama there — and coordinate on a single shared memory. The fleet doesn't care what's thinking, only that it reached the bus.

Every consequential action is checked before it runs. Writing is free; publishing, sending, deploying pass a review gate a bot cannot open for itself. Restraint is the feature.

Every action, signed.

Decisions land in a hash-chained, human-attested ledger. Who acted, what was approved, by whom, when. The trail isn't paperwork — it's the point.

Two governance releases in an afternoon — and we couldn't publish a word without a human.

A dev seat on a Mac mini found a hole in how policy layers compose: a lockdown rule that said deny wasn't actually denying. It measured the blast radius, proved the safe fix, and stopped — because changing it was not its call. A human signed off. Mission control read the diff. A human's hand pushed the tag. clawtex 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 shipped, provenance-attested, to every user. The interesting part isn't the fix. It's everything the fleet couldn't do alone.
